Probes for IDR Gaussmeters

These probes are for use with Gaussmeters made by IDR (Integrity Design & Research Corp): Models IDR-324, IDR-325, IDR-329 Gaussmeters.

The probes use a Hall-effect sensor located near tip of the probe to measure magnetic fields. The Hall sensor Active Area is 0.005" x 0.005" inches.

These are all single-axis (Axial or Transverse) probes.

"Axial" probes measure the magnetic field parallel to the probe stem.

"Transverse" probes measure the field perpendicularly across the probe flat surface.

Probe stem length about 3.5 inches (90mm).  Cable length is 5-feet (1.5m), longer cable lengths up to 15-feet are also available at extra cost.

Probes measure both static (DC) and alternating (AC) magnetic fields, except two models measure static (DC) fields only: (Standard Transverse STD310 and Ultra-Thin Transverse Probe 0.032" STD310-UL0.032).

Custom Probes may be possible, contact us with your requirements.
